Hello And Welcome!
The Greater Akron Rugby Foundation (GARF) was established in 2005 to foster the growth and character of the sport of rugby union football in the Greater Akron community through youth and high school programs for boys and girls under the age of 19.  In particular, the foundation seeks to develop  amateur players and teams capable of national and international caliber competition.

GARF members have already been instrumental in establishing several area high school teams for both boys and girls.  In addition to increasing the number of high school programs, GARF will continue to stimulate interest and participation through clinics, and through the establishment of a youth development league for children under the age of 15.

The Foundation's fund raising will be used to ensure that under served children are afforded an equal opportunity to participate.
